My Story

bessyogi

I am an Atlanta native, but I have spent much time around the Globe and those experiences have taught me many things and made me who I am.  I studied French in southern France, obtained my masters in England and worked for a little while in China. I studied Yoga, Life Coaching and other wellness in Baja.

I am writing to share my passion and story so you can get to know me better and why I have made my career one of happiness through health.

I have completed 600 hours of training in Yoga and I am a certified Life Coach. I am trained in many different styles of Yoga and can pull from the different styles to customize sessions. I also studied Bhakti (Yoga of devotion- spirituality, mantra and music), Meditation and Kundalini (Yoga practice focusing on sets of physical postures with a purpose along with mantra and meditation).

I am passionate about health and happiness, also travel, family & friends, animals, Yoga, music, Yogic values/lifestyle and man I love essential oils. I have a wonderful fluffy dog-child named Chloe Jane. who can be found usually by my side or sleeping wherever she wants (regardless of rules) in my house. I can usually be found working from home, doing yoga, learning something more or new about wellness, cheering on Tiger football, planning mine and my significant others next travel destination or just enjoying quality time with my friends and family.

I am dedicated to living life Holistically and as natural as possible. No, that does not mean I do not believe in western medicine and doctors. No, that also does not mean I judge people who are on a non-holistic track. I think it’s amazing what the world has to offer and everyone has a different journey and everyone needs different things. My dream is to help other people on their journeys to feeling good about themselves, their dreams/goals in life and also their health.

I became passionate about sharing Yogic Wellness with others after Yoga pretty much saved me. I had a very low period in my past due to about 3 years of health issues and what became a downward spiral out of illness that morphed into constant sickness, mental fog, lack of self-confidence, weight gain, having to quit a job I loved and more. It was not a highlight of my life, but it got me here and now. I am far from perfect and have some of my own goals still to reach, but through Holistic approaches and most importantly the physical practice of Yoga, Meditation and the principles and values of Yogic living (Oh yes there is WAY more to yoga than just postures and looking cool bending like a pretzel),  I have journeyed to where I am now and I am happy, healthy and humbly ready to help others feel great.

You don’t have to read about my story or my journey if you don’t want to. I wanted to share it to the public so that others struggling with health issues could maybe relate or find solace. That people would understand why the girl who wanted to travel the world, throw events and play with kids for her living changed courses and became a health coach and advocate. You can stop reading now if you’ve had enough. You can always ask me questions or just choose to know me in the here and now, but if you’re interested the story is on the next page.

I look forward to hearing your interests and working together to create the best sessions for you.
